Founded in 1999, Community Health Systems, Inc. is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that operates a clinic in southern Wisconsin, with a medical, dental and behavioral health clinic at Beloit Area Community Health Center. Highly skilled medical, dental, and behavioral health professionals provide services in the areas of women’s health, family and primary health care, family planning, children’s dentistry, pediatrics (including well-child and school exams), geriatrics, and comprehensive care for HIV-positive patients through a collaboration with UW-Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. New River Community Action is a non-profit organization working hand-in-hand with community groups to address local conditions of poverty in the New River Valley (Floyd, Giles, Montgomery, Radford, and Pulaski), Virginia. We work with our community's most vulnerable residents including the homeless and ex-offenders. We also offer programs to low-income families with young children. We serve about 12,000 New River Valley residents each year. We are part of a network of approximately 1,000 community action agencies nationwide and we recently celebrated our 50th anniversary!
