Clifton Park Halfmoon Emergency Corp (CPHM) is committed to premiere patient care and successful, integrated community partnerships. CPHM provides Emergency Medical Services 24 hours a day and respond to almost 7,000 calls a year! We serve approximately 75,000 residents in the Towns of Clifton Park and Halfmoon and the City of Mechanicville. CPHM is comprised of approximately 85 members, including paramedics, EMTs, volunteers, and administrative staff. Our fleet consists of nine ambulances and two rapid response vehicles. To best serve our 80-square mile coverage area, we operate a main station on the Clifton Park-Halfmoon border and a second station in Mechanicville. CPHM provides all levels of EMS care and responds to any type of situation. Our medical staff treat patients both on-site and while en route to area hospitals, which improves outcomes and allows for a smooth transition to hospital care. CPHM clinical staff train continuously to insure they stay proficient in the latest techniques and technologies. Along with that, our providers strive to offer a calm, kind, reassuring bedside manner to make every interaction with the patient and their loved ones as positive as possible. We are also proud of our Community Outreach Initiatives and Community Partnerships. CPHM interacts with more than 40,000 community residents a year through our activities and trainings! Community programming includes all levels of CPR classes, child passenger safety seat checks, babysitting safety classes, first aid classes, summer camp presentations, opiate overdose prevention programs, traumatic bleeding control trainings, and medical standby at community events of all sizes. CPHM also supports programs from other local organizations and groups and strives to be a good neighbor in the community.
