I began at Kenney Masonry the summer of 2013, planning to go back to the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in the spring for the beginning of my junior year. I quickly became a leader of mason tending on large scale construction projects. I was responsible for mixing mortar, dispersing bricks and mortar, and constructing effective staging that complied with safety code. I had valuable experience working in different states for extended periods of time. I worked with heavy equipment on the job and kept a safe work environment.
