He has completed a two year surgery fellowship at Retina Associates of New Orleans and also a pre-residency research fellowship in retinal electrophysiology at Columbia University. Prior to joining Eye Care for the Adirondacks, Dr. Roy spent two years working with the underserved on the Navajo reservation in Arizona. He has volunteered at children’s hospitals in Guatemala and India. Beyond this, he is a member of See International a group that does expeditions to the third world to perform sight restoring surgery. ________________________________________________________________________________________ Joseph Rini M.D. - Vice President Dr. Joseph Rini earned his medical degree in Medicine from Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed a Residency in ophthalmology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, and New York. He comes to us from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Dr. Rini is a comprehensive ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery and all ophthalmologic procedures.
