Founded in 1904, Utah Food Bank has operated under various names but has always remained true to our mission of Fighting Hunger Statewide. 382,000 Utahns, which equates to 1 in 8 individuals, are at risk of missing a meal today. Even more alarming is that 1 in 7 Utah kids are unsure where their next meal is coming from. With your support last year, we distributed 43.3 million pounds of food, the equivalent of 36.1 million meals, to people facing hunger across the state.

Assist in capacity building for the Utah Refugee Women’s Initiative, including management of social media communications. Spearheading the goal to connect every single refugee mother being served by the Asian Association with a volunteer to assist them with integrating into the community, including volunteer recruitment, retention, and assessment. Oversee development of Women United group at the Hartland Community Center. Serve on the 2015 Aspen Award Selection Committee to recognize an outstanding refugee woman who serves her community and coordinate award presentation at World Refugee Day.

To inspire and enable the youth in our communities, especially those who need us most, to become caring and responsible individuals through guidance-oriented adult relationships and engagement in a variety of enriching activities within a safe environment.

The Work Activity Center enriches the lives of people with disabilities by actively providing opportunities for independence and individual growth.
