Our mission is to facilitate a transformative experience for au pairs and strengthen the global community by connecting people, cultivating personal development, and maintaining excellence in all we do. 2023 marks our 17th year of providing a quality educational experience where au pairs can connect with others across the United States. During this time, we are proud to have served over 40,000 au pairs from more than 70 countries around the world! At APW we are committed to offering more than just classes. We are creating an EXPERIENCE by selecting staff, classes, and activities that allow au pairs to make the most of their time in the USA, as well as, building in opportunities to visit some of the country’s most iconic cities. When in-person classes are possible, our weekend courses combine learning experiences with fun activities, community engagement, and the ability to explore ten major U.S. cities. These courses are offered in partnership with accredited institutions of higher education and satisfy the U.S. Department of State educational requirement. Due to COVID-19, we have shifted our coursework to an online format offering self-paced and live virtual learning instruction. Au Pair Weekend's flexible online classes have allowed au pairs to meet different scheduling needs so they could continue to enhance their personal development and connect with peers from all over the U.S. Our vision is to transform lives and enhance the global community, and we are grateful to be in a position to continue facilitating these experiences through 2023 and beyond!

Our goal at Franklin Discovery Academy is to provide a personalized learning experience for every student. The founders – as parents, teachers, and instructional designers – have created an educational wonderland where every child is recognized as a born explorer with curiosity, talents, and gifts. Our school provides individualized, self-paced instruction based using the Franklin Model, a blended learning educational model, incorporating three main elements: student agency, mastery learning, and rich, hands-on experiences. With mastery learning, our students stay on-topic until they have demonstrated mastery. They do not merely memorize information, but build in-depth knowledge and connections between subjects. At Franklin Discovery, students are surrounded with a team of educators to help them in the exploration of knowledge. This team includes Mentoring Teachers, Academic Coaches, and Master/Lab Teachers.

PACE International Academy is an intensive English as a Second Language school for both local residents and international students. Learning how to speak English and sound like an American does not come from studying books - it comes from listening and speaking with native English speakers. At PACE International Academy, all of our Educators, Teachers, and Staff are native English speakers. This means that our students will learn the American accent by hearing it all around them. Every semester, we have several parties and an activity that will give students a chance to use their conversation skills that are learned in the classroom in real life situations.
