Cárdenas, was directed by Dr. María “Cuca” Robledo Montecel until Jan 2019, and today is directed by Celina Moreno, J.D. IDRA strengthens and transforms public education by providing dynamic training; useful research, evaluation, and frameworks for action; timely policy analyses; and innovative materials and programs. The McKenna Foundation was established in January 2008 with the proceeds from the sale of McKenna Memorial Hospital to CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health Care. Seventy years after the hospital's founding, the McKenna Foundation carries the legacy of caring for the community. From wellness to well-being, they remain committed to advancing the health and well-being of the New Braunfels community now and for generations to come. The McKenna Foundation also oversees the operations of the McKenna Events Center and McKenna Children's Museum.

The Texas Organizing Project (TOP) improves the lives of low and moderate income Texas families by building power through community organizing and civic engagement. TOP is a membership-based organization that conducts issue advocacy, lobbying efforts and electoral organizing on behalf of working families in Texas.

MEXICAN AMERICAN UNITY COUNCIL, INC is a civic & social organization company based out of 2300 W COMMERCE, San Antonio, Texas, United States.

In June of 1997, ten United Methodist churches in San Antonio, Texas established the Hispanic Religious Partnership for Community, a network serving the needs of the underserved. To address client health and wellness, the organization funded church outreach-based programs, including after-school tutoring, food pantries, life enrichment, health & wellness fairs, and well-being classes. Later, the organization evolved to include more direct services, such as CPS utility assistance, emergency food assistance, and referrals for other services. In 2010, the organization refocused its mission in response to consistently witnessing one vital, yet forgotten basic need that impacts the physical, mental and economic well-being of individuals: diapers. In 2013, the board of the Hispanic Religious Partnership for Community renamed the organization the Texas Diaper Bank to reflect its new mission.

Jewish Family Service of San Antonio (JFS) strives to enhance the quality of life of individuals and families of all ages, faiths, and backgrounds in San Antonio and the surrounding area, through social, psychological, health and educational programs guided by the Jewish values of “repairing the world” and “taking responsibility for each other”. Additionally, JFS seeks to remove the financial barriers to mental health and social services in our community.

In 2015, the Department of Housing and Urban Development designated SARAH as the lead as the lead Continuum of Care (CoC) agency for San Antonio and Bexar County. As the CoC, SARAH secures and distributes funding for direct service providers in the housing and homeless community and provides guidance to strengthen policies and programs. SARAH is responsible for collaborating with, listening to, and collecting data from the housing and homeless community.

JOVEN (pronounced “hoven”) stands for Juvenile Outreach and Vocational/Educational Network, and is the Spanish word for youth. Founded in 1992 in response to the growing presence of gangs that were having a negative impact on the children and families of our area, JOVEN is a 501(c)3 nonprofit based in San Antonio. Our mission is to develop character and resiliency in children by providing innovative, exciting programs and structured alternative activities that are designed to help them succeed. Our vision is to create a healthy community, in collaboration with others, where youth at risk and their families may experience healing and empowerment. Over the past 19 years, we have served more than 100,000 disadvantaged children and families in San Antonio with our array of educational, cultural, and fitness programs.
