The Texas Council on Family Violence is one of the largest domestic violence coalitions in the country. We promote safe and healthy relationships by supporting service providers, facilitating strategic prevention efforts, and creating opportunities for freedom from family violence. TCFV is a membership organization and includes survivors, family violence service providers, business professionals, communities of faith and concerned individuals.

Our mission is to restore dignity, hope, and trust to children traumatized by abuse and neglect. ChildSafe is the first stop for children entering the justice system after sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, or witnessing a violent crime or domestic violence. As the only Children’s Advocacy Center in San Antonio and Bexar County, we provide forensic interviews, crisis intervention, case management, and advanced clinical therapy services to aid in the healing of child abuse victims.

Since 1979, CAMP has provided recreational experiences for individuals with special needs based on the core value that everyone should experience the opportunity to succeed in a supportive environment. Our goals fall into three primary categories: 1. Recreation opportunities year-round for over 1,000 individuals with special needs. 2. Respite opportunities year-round for families and caregivers. 3. Education opportunities for the community in the form of volunteer opportunities for high-school and adults, hands-on continuing education opportunities for healthcare professionals, and partnerships with other non-profits in the area to serve the community at large. Year-round programming starts with Summer CAMP (May-August) where over 850 campers participate in traditional camp activities modified to meet their individual needs. Respite Club is offered September – May, and consists of Respite Weekends (9 monthly weekend camps), Parents Night Out (9 monthly evening events), Teen and Adult Day Adventures (9 monthly teen and adult outings), and TADA Life Skills events (9 monthly events). Additionally, CAMP offers 5 Family Retreats throughout the school-year to support families. Year-round, CAMP programs alleviate medical, physical, developmental, social, and intellectual barriers for more than 1,500 campers by adapting activities to allow full participation. As a result, campers garner independence, self-confidence, and encouragement through medically safe recreational activities and social interactions, while parents and siblings receive a break from the rigors of around-the-clock care.

The mission of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Antonio is to operate charitable facilities which provide safe temporary living accommodations for critically ill children and their families while receiving medical treatment in the San Antonio, Texas area.

We have satellite offices throughout South Texas including Corpus Christi, Kerrville, San Marcos, New Braunfels, and College Station.

Children's Emergency Relief International (CERI) protects childhood by providing a family environment as the first and best option for children to grow. CERI's approach cares for the child, strengthens the family, works with the community and partners with the government.
