The Kimbell Art Museum, owned and operated by the Kimbell Art Foundation, is internationally renowned for both its collections and for its architecture. The Kimbell’s collections range in period from antiquity to the 20th century and include European masterpieces by artists such as Fra Angelico, Michelangelo, Caravaggio, Poussin, Velázquez, Monet, Picasso and Matisse; important collections of Egyptian and classical antiquities; and Asian, Mesoamerican and African art. The Museum’s 1972 building, designed by the American architect Louis I. Kahn, is widely regarded as one of the outstanding architectural achievements of the modern era. A second building, designed by world-renowned Italian architect Renzo Piano, opened in 2013 and now provides space for special exhibitions, dedicated classrooms and a 298-seat auditorium with excellent acoustics for music.

The Amon Carter Museum was established through the generosity of Amon G. Carter Sr. (1879–1955) to house his collection of paintings and sculpture by Frederic Remington and Charles M. Russell; to collect, preserve, and exhibit the finest examples of American art; and to serve an educational role through exhibitions, publications, and programs devoted to the study of American art.

The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth is dedicated to collecting, presenting, and interpreting international developments in post–World War II art in all media and creating a welcoming environment for its public appreciation. The Modern promotes understanding and interest in art and artists through curatorial research and publications, and a variety of educational programs, including lectures, guided tours, classes, and workshops. The Dallas County Medical Society (DCMS) is the professional association representing physicians, residents and medical students in Dallas County. DCMS has grown from 30 physicians to over 8,500 since its inception in 1876. DCMS is a leader at the local, state, and national levels and is the second-largest medical society in the country. The mission of DCMS is to promote public health and advocate for physicians and their relationships with patients, while upholding professionalism in the practice of medicine.

Built by artist and educator Marion Koogler McNay in the 1920s, her Spanish Colonial Revival residence became the site of Texas’s first museum of modern art when the McNay opened in 1954. Today more than 150,000 visitors a year enjoy works by modern masters including Paul Gauguin, Vincent van Gogh, Edward Hopper, Georgia O’Keeffe, Pablo Picasso, Jackson Pollock, and Pierre-Auguste Renoir. 23-acre, beautifully landscaped grounds include sculptures by Kiki Smith, Joel Shapiro, George Rickey, and Luis Jimenez Jr .The 45,000-square-foot Jane & Arthur Stieren Center for Exhibitions, designed by internationally renowned French architect Jean-Paul Viguier, features three major exhibitions annually. For seventy years, the McNay has enchanted visitors with its art, architecture, and ambiance. The museum offers rich and varied exhibitions as well as rotating displays in the Main Collection Galleries from the 20,000 works in the collection, while 45,000 adults, teachers, students, and families take advantage of a variety of education programs and innovative educational resources. The Witte Museum is where Nature, Science and Culture meet, through the lens of Texas Deep Time and the themes of Land, Sky, and Water. The Witte is the only museum that focuses on Millions, Thousands and Hundreds of years in what we now call Texas. The Witte inspires people to shape the Future of Texas through transformative and relevant experiences in engaging exhibitions and programs. Founded in 1926, the Witte is located along the San Antonio River and has recently renovated and expanded the entire museum campus.

The Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights is dedicated to teaching the history of the Holocaust and advancing human rights to combat prejudice, hatred, and indifference. A not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) since 1984, we were first known as the Dallas Memorial Center for Holocaust Studies. In 2005, the renamed Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance opened at its transitional location in the historic West End district. The Museum hosted more than 86,000 visitors in 2017, among them 36,000 school children. A top-rated attraction in North Texas, the Museum is one of just a few Holocaust-related museums or centers in the United States and the only Holocaust museum serving North Central Texas, as well as the adjacent states of Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana.
