Higher Education Servicing Corporation (HESC) was established in 1978 as a private, non-profit organization developed to provide life-of-loan servicing for student loan programs that help ensure students and families have access to higher education. The Greater Waco Chamber is a volunteer-driven business organization that serves as an economic development force attracting jobs and investment. The organization opened the first green Chamber building in America on June 6, 2008, to serve as the marketing headquarters for Greater Waco.
