The Texas Association of School Boards promotes educational excellence for all Texas schoolchildren. We provide a wide variety of services and programs to help public school board members serve their communities more effectively and to help school districts function more efficiently.

The Travis County Medical Society (TCMS) was chartered in 1853, when Texas had been a state only eight years and construction of the State Capitol had just begun. On October 22, 1853, the Texas Medical Association officially organized the Travis Medical Society. Since that time, Travis County physicians have worked in partnership to address issues of public health, ethics, training, medical standards, and more. Today, TCMS has over 4,000 physician members. Physicians throughout Travis County rely on TCMS to lobby at the Capital for doctor and patient rights, provide resources to make the practice of medicine easier to navigate as well as providing up to the moment communication and educational opportunities.

The Texas Hospital Association is a nonprofit trade association representing more than 85 percent of Texas hospitals and health care systems. Founded in 1930, the Texas Hospital Association represents the interests of its member hospitals and health systems in both the legislative and regulatory arenas at the state and federal levels on key issues and supports their efforts to provide quality, cost-effective and accessible care. Texas Diabetes & Endocrinology, P.A. was founded in Austin by Dr. Thomas Blevins in 2001 and has grown over the years to meet the Endocrinology needs of our growing community with offices in Central Austin, South Austin and Round Rock.
