In 1963 the Arts Council was formed to provide funding and leadership to stimulate and assure the advancement of the arts throughout our community. Today’s Arts Council is a dynamic, multi-faceted, arts agency serving artists, arts organizations and the community with programs that help shape the arts and that have a significant impact on the quality of life in Fort Worth. Arts Council programs advocate for and fund local arts organizations through a competitive grants program; provide first class public art services, enhance the visual environment of the city; and manage the Community Arts Center as an affordable and accessible venue for artists arts organizations, and the community as a whole.

Christ’s Haven For Children is a 501c3 that provides a trauma-informed, family model of care for displaced children, teens, and young adults. As a voluntary placement organization, we are an option outside of traditional foster care, often when a caregiver has exhausted all efforts to care for a child.

We know that parenting is one of the hardest jobs in the world and everyone, no matter how successful their family may be, can use resources to help them find even greater success. At The Parenting Center, it is our goal to give every child in Tarrant County the childhood they deserve. Our expert team has provided over 540,000 families wraparound services that enhance and support the parenting experience. As a non-profit organization, The Parenting Center dedicates itself to the prevention and treatment of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), including child abuse, and is a leader in the field of trauma-informed and ACEs-aware education. We work from within the community, providing individuals, families, schools and others with the most complete family services of any agency in the region. We have provided more than 540,000 families with - Clinical Counseling and Play Therapy - Marriage and Relationship Workshops - Parenting Education - Home Visiting, utilizing Trust-Based Relational Intervention The Parenting Center serves 14,000 to 18,000 clients each year, from all income levels and social groups, across Tarrant County and the surrounding area.

Summer Intern as a certified assistant coach for the Fort Worth chapter teaching life skills through the game of golf based on a national curriculum; during classes, worked in teams of 2-3 coaches with 10-20+ children ranging from ages 5-18; responsible for child safety and care; organized staff assignments and activities for participants; managed front desk and customer service as needed; facility upkeep.

The Denton Chamber is made up of a diverse cross-section of businesses, companies, and industries in an alliance designed to help promote local products and services and support the collective needs and interests of its members. The organization also provides the structural foundation for administering key affiliate services such as the Convention & Visitor Bureau, Economic Development Partnership, Leadership Denton, and the Small Business Development Center. The Chamber office is the acknowledged "front door"​ to Denton, with staff responding to inquiries from potential new residents, visitors, and prospective businesses. Literally hundreds of information requests are processed annually, with first priority given to chamber member products and services. Established in 1909, the Denton Chamber has been a consistent and credible representative of local business and is one of only 250 in the entire nation to have achieved and maintained accreditation by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for over 35 years.
