Presently, H&R Machine employees 31 people with time in service ranging up to 25 years. Ours is not just a staff, but rather a team working together toward one common goal --- satisfying the customer. The reputation of H&R Machine for quality, timely overhauls and service has endured and grown. We have averaged annually 30-50 shop and field overhauls for the past several years. In 2005, we added our engine overhaul assembly plant in an effort to streamline our operations. Align boring, block machining, connecting rod, rocker arm and head reconditioning are in-house capabilities here. Crankshaft inspection, crack detection, and polishing are also done in-house. Crankshaft replacement is supported with inventory of exchange-reconditioned shafts for most engines. Our cylinder head reconditioning department is fully equipped with the latest machining equipment and is regarded throughout the area as tops in quality. Our field mechanical services are also handled with a fleet of fully equipped service vehicles. With this support fleet, we are able to assist clients with engine change out or turn-key on the job. We also offer field machining repairs to engine blocks and compressors. Key to our well-rounded services is our on site parts department under the supervision of qualified personnel. By maintaining a substantial inventory of parts which includes an engine exchange program, H&R Machine can complete jobs for customers in a more timely and efficient manner.
