Our Mission The Houston Zoo connects communities with animals, inspiring action to save wildlife. Our Vision The Houston Zoo will be a leader in the global movement to save wildlife. The Houston Zoo is made up of many moving parts. We have over 6,000 permanent residents (our animals) for whom we provide housing, meals, medical care and, yes, even education! There are over 2 million guests each year who come to experience our incredible variety of animals and ecosystems, as well as attend special private and public events and entertainment. Our dedicated staff works around the clock to ensure that the Zoo is always running smoothly for the safety and well being of our residents and guests.

River Oaks Country Club (ROCC) is a prestigious, private, member-owned social and athletic Club. River Oaks'​ management team has hundreds of years of experience across many diverse industries. Whether it is hospitality, culinary, catering, fitness, golf, tennis or swimming, the ROCC staff is eager to serve respectfully with their talents. Since its founding in 1923, River Oaks Country Club has provided quality for its members and continues to build true, valuable relationships.

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is a Section 501(c)(3) charity that benefits youth, supports education, and facilitates better agricultural practices through exhibitions and presentation. Since its beginning in 1932, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has committed more than $550 million to scholarships, research, endowments, calf scramble participants, junior show exhibitors, School Art participants, and other educational youth programs. MISSION STATEMENT The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ was organized for charitable, educational and scientific purposes to encourage and promote the breeding, raising and marketing of better livestock and farm products at public fairs and to promote and maintain research and educational functions within the livestock industry. It is the general policy of the Show to utilize, in the fiscal year subsequent to which it is earned, the excess of its revenue over expenses for the furtherance of its exempt purpose, including the granting and/or funding of scholarships, educational endowments, agricultural research projects and other similar programs and the funding of related capital additions and improvements. The funds of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo are used exclusively to meet necessary expenses for its upkeep and operation and in furtherance of the exempt purpose of the organization.

Royal Oaks Country Club is member owned private country club. The Club is located eight miles west of the Galleria on Westheimer Road. The Fred Couples 7,007-yard, par-72 Signature Course, offers 18 holes and full service locker room service. The Club's other luxury amenities include a fully equipped Fitness Center, complete with cardio, weight, group exercise, personal training and massage services. The sports complex at ROCC offers hard and clay courts, lap and resort pool. The nicely appointed Clubhouse offers premiere dining and space for private dining and events.

We are a private, member-owned yacht club. Located on 38 beautifully landscaped acres on Clear Lake beyond the busy highways of East Harris County, Lakewood Yacht Club is an exceptional environment for social and water activities. The Club has over 300 covered and open boat slips for any boat aficionado. Lakewood is so much more than just a yacht club for docking your boat, however. It is a haven for members, their families and guests. There is a sense of peace and tranquility here combined with an unparalleled camaraderie that makes Lakewood an escape from your everyday life.
