Partnership With Native Americans is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to championing hope for a brighter future for Native Americans living on remote, isolated and impoverished reservations. Collaborating for more than 25 years with our reservation partners, we provide consistent aid and services for Native Americans with the highest need in the U.S. The majority of PWNA's support is designed to help meet the basic human needs of those most vulnerable: Native American Elders and youth. PWNA works with hundreds of reservation program partners in hundreds of tribal communities across the Southwest and Northern Plains. Year-round, we deliver about 5 million pounds of new and high-quality goods to the reservations for immediate relief from impoverishment. In addition, PWNA provides educational assistance, supports the work in process by reservation communities and helps build more capacity. Children’s Advocacy Center for North Texas is a non-profit agency that coordinates the investigation and prosecution of severe child abuse cases (severe physical abuse, child sexual abuse, and witnesses to violence) for law enforcement and the Department of Family & Protective Services. We also work with the District Attorney’s Office and medical professionals to provide a full range of wraparound services. CASA of Collin County promotes and protects the best interests of children who have been abused or neglected by training volunteer advocates to improve the child’s quality of life and serves as their voice within the court system to ensure they are placed in a safe, permanent and loving home. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Collin County advocates for the best interest of children in foster care. Since 1994, we have served 100% of the abused and neglected children removed from their homes in Collin County. Within 24 hours of the removal, CASA is appointed by District Court Judges as the child’s guardian ad litem. As the child’s official voice in court, CASA works tirelessly to make sure the child (and parents) receive the services needed and the child’s case moves through the system as quickly as possible. The goal is for each child to be reunited with family if appropriate or to be placed in a safe and loving forever home if reunification is not possible.
