-Manipulates or depresses crane controls, such as pedals, levers, and buttons, to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions.-Inspect cranes before and after each shift, generated work logs for the day and logged any lifts.-Determine load weights and check them against lifting capacity to prevent overload of charts.-Observe safety practices and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.-Perform daily inspections and maintenance in accordance with OSHA guidelines.-Assist in the development of lift plans, lift fixtures and visual working instructions detailing all lifting and flipping operations.
