Both the Boyertown, PA (USA) and Aizu (Japan) facilities of GAM were the first of any metals processor to be audited and certified “Conflict-Free” by the EICC/GeSI Conflict Free Smelter program. This 2010 milestone is augmented with annual recertification. GAM supports its customers’ efforts to comply with Section 1502 of the U.S. Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. Our rigorous and ethical sourcing practices are conducted in accordance with the OECD 5-steps Guidance and the EICC Code of Conduct. In addition, the Boyertown facility is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and has been awarded the OSHA VPP Star status. The Aizu facility is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001. The Greenbushes facility is certified to ISO 9001:2015.
