WaterFire Providence® is an independent, non-profit arts organization whose mission is to inspire Providence and its visitors by revitalizing the urban experience, fostering community engagement and creatively transforming the city by presenting WaterFire for all to enjoy. This award-winning sculpture by Barnaby Evans installed on the three rivers of downtown Providence, has been praised by Rhode Island residents and international visitors alike as a powerful work of art and a moving symbol of Providence’s renaissance. WaterFire’s over eighty sparkling bonfires, the fragrant scent of aromatic wood smoke, the flickering firelight on the arched bridges, the silhouettes of the firetenders passing by the flames, the torch-lit vessels traveling down the river, and the enchanting music from around the world engage all the senses and emotions of those who stroll the paths of Waterplace Park. WaterFire has captured the imagination of over ten million visitors, bringing life to downtown, and revitalizing Rhode Island’s capital city.

Since its opening in 2008, DPAC (Durham Performing Arts Center) has become the center for live entertainment in North Carolina. Recognized for its contemporary design, DPAC features 2,700 seats, intimate sightlines, and state-of-the-art sound and video. Ranked annually among the top-ten theaters in America by three leading national magazines that cover live entertainment events and venues, DPAC was recently nominated for Theatre of the Decade by Pollstar Magazine. With a mission of presenting one-of a-kind live entertainment events, DPAC truly has “something for everyone”, hosting over 200 performances a year including spectacular touring Broadway productions, high-profile concert and comedy events, family shows and the heralded American Dance Festival.

Direct and oversee leadership, strategy and administration of a nine full member and seven affiliate member NCAA Division III athletic conference with 19 championships. Steer all aspects of business operations of the organization as well as manage governance, compliance and enforcement, championships, student-athlete recognition programs and facilitate NCAA Strategic Initiative Grant compliance by member institutions. Build and establish consensus, promoting the league and its athletes. Interface with presidents, athletic directors, coaches, commissioners and NCAA staff to advocate on behalf of the league and its interests. Drive human resources (HR) functions, including sourcing, onboarding and training of staff and annual performance reviews. Oversee benefits administration, including plan selection, worker’s compensation and P&C insurance.

AS220 is a non-profit community arts organization located in downtown Providence, Rhode Island. Our mission to provide “a local forum and home for the arts through the maintenance of residential and work studios, galleries, performance and educational spaces” remains as relevant and vital today as it was when AS220 was founded in 1985. True to our origins, our performance spaces remain unjuried, uncensored and all ages: they are spaces to come together, collaborate, innovate, experiment and take risks. AS220 cultivates a creative community that continues to have a profoundly transformative impact on the city of Providence. We are dedicated to supporting artists and enhancing the cultural opportunities for all the people of Rhode Island. AS220 provides artists opportunities to live, work, exhibit and perform in our three facilities, which include: four rotating gallery spaces; a performance stage; a black box theater; a print shop; a darkroom and media arts lab; a fabrication and electronics lab; a dance studio; a youth program focusing on youth under state care and in the Rhode Island juvenile detention facility; 47 affordable residential apartments and 7 work studios for artists; and a bar and restaurant.
