The NEPA Alliance, a regional community and economic development agency, serves the seven counties of Northeastern Pennsylvania including Carbon, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, Schuylkill and Wayne. NEPA Alliance services include Business Financing, Government Contracting Assistance, International Trade Assistance, Non Profit Assistance, Transportation Planning, Research and Information, and Local Government Services. OUR GOALS The Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance will have a positive impact on the economic and community development of the region, by utilizing the exceptional abilities of our professional staff to: •Increase the number and quality of the services we provide to business clients •Provide valuable services to local governments •Provide valuable services to nonprofit entities through the Nonprofit & Community Assistance Center (NCAC) •Strive to consistently achieve 100% customer satisfaction •Maintain and enhance financial stability of our organization •Provide support for the creation or retention of 2,250 jobs annually •Communicate the positive impact of our services on our region •Seek and develop partnerships with other organizations to enhance delivery of programs and services and utilize resources efficiently

Good things happen when we LIVE UNITED. United Way tackles key issues around the focus areas of education, health, income and safety net services. More than 150,000 local people benefit from our funded health and human service programs. Our work is only possible with the great support demonstrated by the community, including over 1,400 volunteers and more than 9,000 contributors. We bring together businesses, community organizations, the educational community, labor and others to strengthen Berks County. By working with our 33 agency partners, nonprofits and trained volunteers we invest in strategies to create community change. By managing initiatives like 2-1-1 we connect people with community resources through a free, 24/7 Information & Referral service. We lead the community initiative Ready.Set.READ! to focus on early grade reading proficiency, and ultimately help kids achieve academic success and shape our community’s future.

CAN DO, Inc., is a non-profit industrial/economic development corporation serving Greater Hazleton in Northeastern Pennsylvania, which is just a short drive from New York City, Philadelphia, Boston or Washington, D.C. Our coverage area includes portions of Luzerne, Schuylkill and Carbon counties. The Hazleton area is bordered on the west by Columbia County, east by the Lehigh River, north by Wilkes-Barre, and south by upper Schuylkill and Carbon counties. Our mission is to improve the quality of life in Greater Hazleton through the creation of employment opportunities. Since 1956, CAN DO has fostered the economic activity in our community and has evolved into a one-stop shop for business and industry.

With a 100-year legacy of driving change, United Way of Wyoming Valley leads initiatives to address childhood poverty and improve the odds of success for at-risk children and families. Partnering with local nonprofit organizations and school districts, the United Way provides access to resources and programs that meet the education and health needs of children and financial stability of families throughout the Wyoming Valley, while maintaining safety net support for the community’s most vulnerable.

Protecting clean water in our rivers, our streams and our homes. Since 1959, RHA has served as the watchdog for the 470-square-mile North and South Branch Raritan watershed, a region covering 38 municipalities in New Jersey’s Hunterdon, Somerset and Morris counties. Throughout this beautiful region, countless tributaries merge and flow into the North and South Branch of the Raritan River. Safeguarding these “headwaters” means clean, safe water for 300,000 watershed residents and 1.5 million New Jerseyans living downstream in more urban areas who depend on the water that comes from our rivers and reservoirs. Raritan Headwaters is a member-supported 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates under the guidance of a Board of Trustees. We have 20 staff members, joined by an AmeriCorps watershed ambassador, nature educators, interns and a large enthusiastic corps of volunteers.

Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) empowers veterans and families of fallen heroes to develop character in future generations. In 2007, 1st Lt Travis Manion (USMC) was killed in Iraq while saving his wounded teammates. Today, Travis'​ legacy lives on in the words he spoke before leaving for his final deployment, "If Not Me, Then Who..."​ Guided by this mantra, veterans and survivors continue their service, develop strong relationships with their communities, and thrive in their post-military lives. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation's heroes live on in the next generation.
