Keystone Human Services is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the human spirit of all people. Since 1972, we have worked to promoting inclusion, creating opportunities for children and adults with disabilities to fully participate in their communities and fully enjoy their human rights. We provide community-based services to children and adults with autism, individuals with intellectual disabilities, and adults experiencing mental illness. Our programs also include early intervention, Capital Area Head Start, and Susquehanna Service Dogs. Although we’re based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, we serve children, adults, and families throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, and Connecticut, as well as Moldova and India.

Preschool's available at no cost to eligible families at CenClear. We also offer Early Childhood Services at no cost to eligible families. CenClear's services reach from as far north as Elk and Cameron counties to as far south as the Pennsylvania/Maryland border. Our services vary by location. CenClear is dedicated to providing superior services to children, teens and adults by relying on evidence-based programs and treatments. CenClear works diligently to help families and individuals access the services and support they need to make their dreams come true. CenClear was founded in 1980 as a non-profit organization to provide preschool services to children in low-income families. It was soon discovered that there were very few options at the time for young children with mental health issues. CenClear began offering mental health services to meet the needs of not only children, but teens and adults as well. When it was determined that some clients also needed drug and alcohol treatment services these services were added as well. Today CenClear offers services for pregnant moms, young parents, toddlers, preschool students, school-age children, teens and adults. CenClear's mental health treatment services include outpatient services, in-school services, family services, individual sessions and group sessions. Those in need of drug and alcohol services have the option of partial hospitalization services, intensive outpatient services and outpatient services. CenClear also offers Medication Assisted Treatment at our Punxsutawney and Clearfield locations. It is made available if it is determined it would help the client and the person participates in the therapy program as well. CenClear works to strengthen communities one person at a time.

People with intellectual disabilities have a safe place to live at CPARC, and services that encourage them to grow. “CPARC helps us grow and grow and grow, like a flower,” says Bryan, one of the folks we support. Just 60 years ago, people with disabilities were living in institutional settings. At that time, the only option for parents of a child with a disability was to place their child in a state institution. A group of concerned parents created CPARC in 1953 to offer an alternative to institutionalization for their children with special needs. The mission of The Arc of Cumberland & Perry Counties (CPARC) is to empower, inspire, and educate people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families, and the community. “You help people, like my son, feel self-sufficient,” one mother says.

The Family Health Council of Central Pennsylvania is a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving health, preventing disease, and promoting wellness. Founded in 1973, the Council oversees and supports a diverse, 28-county network of organizations providing a range of vital services and care to thousands of women, men, children and adolescents each year. Services include women’s health care, cancer screening and education, tobacco prevention and cessation, nutrition advice and healthy foods, and HIV/AIDS support services.

Family Care Services is a private, non-profit, social services agency in Chambersburg, PA. Our programs include Life Sharing, Foster Care, Adoption and Permanency, Respite, and Family Based Mental Health Services. Founded in 1976, the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence is the oldest statewide domestic violence coalition in the nation. Each year, free and confidential services are provided to nearly 90,000 victims of domestic violence and their children through a network of 59 community-based programs serving all 67 counties in the commonwealth. Founded in 1975, PCAR works to end sexual violence and advocates for the rights and needs of sexual assault victims. PCAR partners with a network of rape crisis programs to bring help, hope and healing around issues of sexual violence to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. PCAR: • Assures that communities have access to quality victim services and prevention education by providing funding, training, materials and assistance to a network of rape crisis centers that serve all of Pennsylvania’s 67 counties. • Provides resources and training on sexual assault-related issues to professionals across the Commonwealth. • Promotes public policies that provide protections and services to victims of sexual violence, hold offenders accountable and enhance community safety, and works with media to increase public awareness, access to accurate information and ethical reporting practices. • Operates the National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC), which identifies, develops and disseminates resources regarding all aspects of sexual violence prevention and intervention.

AHEDD provides employment services throughout Pennsylvania to people with disabilities. The individuals we serve include youth in transition from school-to-work and adults who are looking for employment in the community. Participants in AHEDD's services benefit from a customized plan of service that can include: skill assessments; career exploration and development; self-directed job search; job placement; work site support/training; and/or consultation on benefits management issues by Certified Work Incentive Coordinators (CWICs). The critical work that we do helps people gain greater independence, become productive and contributing members of their community and meet the diversity and labor force needs of businesses.

The Arc is a non-profit organization supporting the needs of persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in Centre County since 1953. Our Mission: The Arc of Centre County embodies and protects the human rights of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and practices person-centered planning which actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes. The Arc offers an array of community services, focusing its efforts on ensuring the rights of persons with developmental disabilities, supporting their families, and helping each person reach his or her personal best. The Arc is composed of people from all walks of life- from programs targeting youth with disabilities to supports for aging adults with disabilities, The Arc’s programs make an impact across the lifespan. Through changes and growth and from progressive Residential Habilitation Services with medical supports to our cutting edge Discovery and Customized Employment services, The Arc has never altered its ultimate goal which is to provide support to persons with a disability and their families.
