The Dayton Society of Natural History is the parent organization for the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery, SunWatch Indian Village/Archaeological Park, and Fort Ancient Earthworks and Nature Preserve (managed on behalf of Ohio History Connection). At Fort Ancient Earthworks and Nature Preserve, discover Ohio's ancient past at this 2,000-year-old site comprised of 3 1/2 miles of earthworks that were constructed over a nearly 400 year period. The museum encompasses 15,000 years of Ohio history, and offers a hands-on classroom and access to a prehistoric-themed garden.

The our mission is to reveal stories about freedom's heroes, from the era of the Underground Railroad to contemporary times, challenging and inspiring everyone to take courageous steps for freedom today. Our physical location in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, is just a few steps from the banks of the Ohio River, the great natural barrier that separated slave from free states. Our museum tells the dramatic story of the enslaved crossing over that river on the journey to freedom, assisted by men and women of all backgrounds who hated slavery and had created a secret network of escape routes that came to be called "the Underground Railroad."​

Worked with students on writing they brought in and provided original prompts. o Children’s Story Hour, Spring 2022 Supported storytelling hour and related activities. • Designed and developed leadership development course for teens o The Joy Lab, Fall 2022 Course explored how creative writing exercises could help teens cultivate joy to then integrate into their activism.• Selected to serve as a Selection Committee member for the Cincinnati Youth Poet Laureate program, alongside writers, educators, curators.o Represented the committee in a public radio interview.o Introduced Poet Laureate Program at public inauguration.
