The mission of the New England Livery Association (NELA) is to support the livery industry in the six New England states. The three pillars on which we have built our award-winning association are advocacy for our industry and our membership, supporting the growth of our professional community, and providing educational opportunities for our membership. Advocacy The NELA advocates for the industry and its members in several ways. Our members are easily found on our website, both by other members who seek to enhance their affiliate network, and by the general public looking for livery services. We proactively engage regulators, legislators, and other authorities to create and maintain a positive environment for our industry. Community The strength of our association is in our combined forces, our shared ideas and open lines of communication. We support this development of “community” through events and an interactive website. Our events range from educational sessions to social outings, and provide attendees with the opportunity to meet other members, discussing new ideas and building their network of industry leading operators. In addition to livery operators, our community includes industry vendors who provide state-of-the-art products and services. Companies who become Affiliate Members have a unique opportunity to enhance their brand with operators throughout New England. Education The NELA helps its members increase awareness in several ways. Members are kept up-to-date on local, regional and national issues through various forms of communication. Educational sessions are held throughout the year to help NELA members remain current, by focusing on pertinent topics throughout the industry.
