Developed agenda and curriculum for the first West Virginia Youth Disability Caucus in 2005 and facilitated the three-day conference.● Developed original curriculum designed to teach youth with disabilities age 16-21 disability history and culture, leadership skills, and provide state level policy experience.● As a result of the conference, youth delegates crafted and successfully advocated for passage of a bill to create the nation’s first requirement for an annual “Disability History Week” during which all K-12 schools are required to teach disability history. ● Facilitated conference again in 2015
