CDMC is a team of highly experienced designers and manufacturers of deburring equipment. We pride ourselves on connecting with each customer on a technical level to achieve the best possible solution for your application. We offer many different methods of deburring, and have alliances with companies who specialize in other areas of metal finishing so that we can assist you with any deburring application A typical project begins when we are contacted by a customer. We will ask you a few questions related to your manufacturing process, and then probably request to see a sample of the part or parts that you are interested in deburring. We welcome our customers to come to Cleveland and participate in the sample part processing and evaluation. We have many different types of processes that we can utilize depending on the part requirements. We will then create an application report, which includes process details and photographs to help the customer understand how their part has been processed. Once a process is established and proves to be effective, we will then evaluate if the process is well suited to one of our standard machines, or if we need to start with a clean slate. Most applications can be accommodated by a standard machine, however, certain variables such as cycle times, part sizes, and other specific limitations may require a custom deburring application Depending on the part or parts to be processed, and the customer’s understanding of the part requirements, this process of evaluation can be bypassed. Our standard machines have clearly defined capabilities that can be found in the technical description of each machine. So feel free to look around our website, and if you do have a deburring or metal finishing application, don’t hesitate to pick up the phone and give us a call. We would love to hear from you.

CLASSIC CONNECTORS USA, LLC

In recent years the North American power grid has seen a dramatic increase in overhead connector failures with catastrophic results. Are you aware that splice failures caused the death of a Pennsylvania woman that resulted in a $105M wrongful death lawsuit? CCI was formed to help prevent these types of issues. ClampStar reinforces aging connectors, restoring their full mechanical integrity and escalating their electrical capacity by at least double of what it was when they were new. Our products, identified by the name ClampStar® are purchased by electrical power utilities for application in “transmission” and “distribution” circuits. ClampStar® is an engineered electrical/mechanical shunt that, along with proactive maintenance practices improves safety and prevents unplanned outages. ClampStar is the industry’s only PERMANENT life extension solution for virtually all overhead conductors. Increasing power flows on some of the oldest lower-voltage circuits, especially during emergencies has put significant pressure on a power grid that was built mainly to serve local markets. ClampStar is necessary to help bring the power grid up to a level of acceptable physical soundness and reliability. With ClampStar, splices, deadends and suspension clamps are repaired with NO power interruption; connector replacement is no longer necessary. It easily installs over the existing connector. A unique parameter we assign to all our products is that they must be easily installed on energized lines. We call that “Lineman Friendly” which means no (or very few) loose components, readily handled by “Hot Sticks” and requiring no special tools, jacks or come-alongs. Our unique and innovative products are commonly used to harden the grid by improving system reliability while enhancing public safety.
