The Area Agency on Aging Region 9, Inc. first opened its doors in Cambridge in 1975 as a non profit Section 501(c)(3) organization. We are designated by the Ohio Department of Aging as one of America's nearly 700 Area Agencies on Aging. We serve 9 counties in southeastern Ohio that includes; Belmont, Carroll, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Holmes, Jefferson, Muskingum, & Tuscarawas. We equip people, communities & organizations to prepare for & address challenges in aging & those with disabilities & chronic disease(s) with information, assistance & access to services.

The staff and leadership of Chartiers Center are committed to providing compassionate support to those in need who face behavioral health, co-occurring disorders, or IDD challenges as they transform their lives.
