Capital City Group is the leading provider of crane rental services in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions for over twenty six years. Other services we provide are construction hoist rentals, new and used equipment sales, field services, heavy hauling, rigging, and storage. We represent Alimak Construction Hoists, Manitex Cranes, Potain Self-Erecting Tower Cranes, and XL Specialized Trailers. In 1969 Chet Gibson began working as a dispatcher with the George Igel Company; twenty-five years later he started Capital City Crane Rental. Our philosophy is one of the easiest ways to take care of customers is to surround yourself with good employees. At Capital City Group we have done that. We feel that anyone can supply you a crane and labor, but what stands us apart from other crane rental companies are the employees. Our crane rental division owns and operates over 150 cranes from 2.2 ton up to 900 ton. Crane types include: Industrial Cranes, Rough Terrain Cranes, Boom Trucks, Hydraulic Truck Cranes, All-Terrain Cranes, Telescopic Crawler Cranes, Crawler Cranes, Self-Erecting Tower Cranes, and Tower Cranes. Our Alimak rental hoists are construction elevators primarily used by Contractors and Power Plants. Our fleet of Potain self-erecting tower cranes are used in congested sites with limited access. Our Heavy Hauling division use XL Specialized trailers and sell new trailers. We have over 50 acres of outside storage and have indoor storage available also. We proudly serve: Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia from five locations in Columbus, OH • Coshocton, OH • Morgantown, WV • Ottawa, OH • Toledo, OH. From those branches we often work in Akron, Ann Arbor, Canton, Cincinnati, Charleston, Cleveland, Cumberland, Dayton, Detroit, Fort Wayne, Lima, Lansing, Parkersburg, Pittsburgh, Wheeling, and Youngstown.
