Heartland Health & Wellness Fund is 39,000 members strong, comprised of plan participants in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia and Wisconsin represented by the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW). The fund offers quality health benefits and eligibility information to its plan participants and their families. As part of the health community working to administer quality benefits for plan participants and their families, Heartland is committed to member satisfaction.The fund aims to improve the health of its participants by providing the best quality of resources that promote wellness and leading a healthy life through its Total Health wellness program. Heartland Health & Wellness Fund is governed by a board of trustees made up of UFCW leaders and employer executives who represent the companies who receive health insurance from the Fund. The Fund employs more than 40 well-trained and experienced staff members to provide health benefit solutions. The staff team serves its membership by answering concerns regarding claims, eligibility, enrollment, sick pay, pension, appeals, wellness resources and general benefits information.
