Agape for Youth, Inc. is a private non-profit foster care, adoption, and reunification agency. Our Mission is"Providing youth and families with supportive, nurturing services that encourage each other to reach their full potential."​ Agape was founded in 1989 in order to place children into foster homes which could guide and support youth in becoming functioning individuals in society. Over the past 28 years, Agape for Youth, Inc. has built a strong reputation in the community as a leader in quality therapeutic foster care. Over the years Agape has expanded its services to include family foster care, providing adoption home studies, preparation of families and children for adoption, supportive services to adoptive families, and Reunification Services program provides the opportunity to work with families whose children are making the transition from foster care back to their biological family. The most recent addition to the programs and services at Agape for Youth, Inc. is the Giving Hope for Tomorrow Family Visitation Center. As an organization, we know the challenges that public agencies face in providing a safe, comfortable, family setting for visitation. The Giving Hope for Tomorrow Visitation Center is designed to provide a home style, family atmosphere for family or sibling visits. The visitation center has been a part of our plan since our relocation to our Edwin C. Moses location in August of 2015. The center is now completely furnished and ready for use by the families we serve as well as our referring agencies. We also anticipate the completion of an outdoor visitation area by the beginning of summer, providing a complement to the indoor visitation center. Agape for Youth, Inc. continues to uphold the fundamental belief of providing personal services to each family and youth working with our agency and supporting those individuals as they work together as for the success of the youth.

Big Brothers Big Sisters Miami Valley matches adult mentors ("Bigs") with youth mentees ("Littles). Bigs and Littles meet four-six hours a month, participating in fun, safe, and inexpensive activities while focusing on academic, behavioral, and social goals. Youth in our community have the potential to be successful in life. With the support of our volunteer mentors and our community partners, we help youth realize that potential.

Bright Beginnings is a nonprofit organization with 100+ staff that provides solutions to build sustainably for families experiencing homelessness. As HR Manager, I was accountable for planning, establishing, and implemented best practice Human Resources processes and policies to shape a high-performing workplace culture that emphasizes empowerment, accountability, and productivity. I also designed employee-centered policies to optimize administrative operations, eliminate process inefficiencies, and support an agile, engaged, and highly motivated workforce. Among my accomplishments, I have: ➥ Inherited an underperforming department that was non-compliant with FMLA, ADA, FFCRA, and other labor laws. I turned the situation around by training employees and managers on best practice procedures including paid family leave and short-term disability, effectively bringing the organization back into compliance. ➥ Developed a highly centralized and consolidated database to store all manual and employee documentation. ➥ Created an efficient personnel filing system by creating records using SharePoint.

Deaf Services Center (DSC) is the largest non-profit organization serving the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in the great state of Ohio. DSC provides community centers in the northwest, Central, and southeast regions along with offering interpreting and Speech-To-Text services throughout Ohio and neighboring states such as Michigan and Kentucky. Languages provided by DSC Community Interpreting & Translation services include but not limited to: American Sign Language (ASL), Spanish, French, Somali, Japanese, Mandarin and Nepali. DSC also provides community advocacy, case management, education, Information and Referral, American Sign Language (ASL) Classes, Deaf Youth Programming and Camps, Kids of Deaf Adults (KODA) Programming, Regional Infant Hearing Program (RIHP), Deaf Equipment Modification Program (DEMP) and Employment Services. DSC is a CARF accredited facility in the state of Ohio.
