CAWS North Dakota is the statewide sexual and domestic violence coalition. We provide leadership and support in the identification, intervention, and prevention of domestic and sexual violence to the 20 crisis intervention centers across the state. We do so by: • Providing support, tools, and resources to local crisis intervention centers working with victims and their families • Educating and training professionals and advocates on the issues of sexual and domestic violence • Coordinating annual public awareness events • Providing information and resources to the general public regarding domestic and sexual violence • Building institutional partnerships and shaping public policy • Promoting healthy relationships and nonviolence through prevention work Together, we can build a violence free North Dakota for all.
