Established in 1965, Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is a nonprofit organization that connects people to opportunities to find gainful employment and meaningful work. With more than 25 retail stores and 30 donation sites, Goodwill uses proceeds from the sales of donated goods to fund skills training and employment services offered free of charge to thousands of people in our community each year. Support, Inc. is a nationally accredited child and adolescent behavioral health agency that has been serving Gaston, Lincoln, Cleveland, Catawba, and other surrounding counties for the past 18 years. Support, Inc.'s services include Outpatient Therapy, School-Based Therapy, Intensive In-Home, Family-Centered Treatment, High-Fidelity Wraparound, Day Treatment, Psychiatric Services, and multiple evidence-based practices.

Girls on the Run is a transformational physical activity based positive youth development program for girls in 3rd-8th grade. We teach life skills through dynamic, interactive lessons and running games. The program culminates with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5K running event. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness. Girls on the Run International (GOTRI) is the parent organization of more than 200 Girls on the Run councils across the United States and Canada. GOTRI establishes, trains and supports a network of community-level councils with local volunteers. The volunteers serve as role models to the girls through coaching the 10-week, 20 lesson curricula. The curriculum is delivered in these areas through after-school programs, recreation centers and other non-profit settings. Mission: We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. Vision: We envision a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams.
