Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast serves nearly 6,000 girls in grades K through 12 with the help of nearly 5,000 adult volunteers in southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina. Girl Scouts is the world’s preeminent organization dedicated to meeting the unique needs of girls. Through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, girls learn to Discover what they are capable of, Connect with the world around them and Take Action to make the world a better place. Supervise marketing/event and communication staff. Responsible for executing marketing strategies, designing campaigns, analyzing the effectiveness, and developing the association’s overall marketing programs. Collaborating with the CEO and Board of Directors for creating department budget, overall department procedures, hiring/firing, building new company procedures, and strategically planning HRRA’s marketing efforts. • Staff liaison to the Circle of Excellence Award Gala Planning Advisory Group. Plan and train new event staff to produce the largest HRRA event, with 1200-1400 attendees. • Oversee a team that plans 200+ annual events, forums, expos, conventions, award ceremonies, government affairs meeting, trainings, and educational classes. • Staff liaison to the Circle of Excellence Awards Gala Audit Committee. Building a FormStack Platform to transform the over 1200 application process to an online platform. • Responsible for hiring, training, overseeing the day-to-day activities and motivating the marketing and communication department. • Running multiple department projects at once, including communications, sales, and events. • Establishes affiliate partnership programs • Creating and maintaining a multimillion-dollar annual budget. • Provide monthly financial reports and budget summaries to both the Board of Directors and Executive Committee. • Present marketing and communication proposals to the Board of Directors for approval.

The Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce is the premier business membership organization on North Carolina's Outer Banks (1,050 members in Currituck County, Dare County & Ocracoke Island). Providing a number of member services including networking, ribbon cuttings, educational workshops, economic reports, leadership training, young professionals, SCORE business counseling and more. Publisher of Outer Banks Experience Magazine, the Outer Banks Detailed Street Map, outerbankschamber.com.

Facilitate structured meetings for finance committee. Prepares annul and long- range budget programs. Works with Community Manager and finance committee in preparation of annul budget. Opens bank accounts disburses funds maintains revenues as directed by the Board of Directors. Co-signs checks promissory notes for the Association. Calls for annual audit. Reviews the keeping of books and accounts. Works with Community Manager in the prep oration of budget. Oversee and reviews the deposits, withdrawals of bank accounts Works with Community Manager finding and facilitating appropriate interest accounts for the association.

The cross country affiliation of Rush Soccer clubs began with the Virginia Rush Soccer Club and the Colorado Rush. The Virginia Rush Soccer Club formation is the result of players from 3 area clubs joining the Virginia Beach Soccer Club. The club adopted the Rush name and the Rush Way. Rush Soccer has grown to 22clubs across the United States with planned growth in the future. The Virginia Rush is the only soccer club in southeastern Virginia to have developmental, advanced, competitive, and adult and many other programs under one club. The club currently has 6,000 players participating in a variety of programs. The Virginia Rush has become a model club in Virginia. The work of the elite staff has provided benefits to the players early on as well. Since their inception in September of 2003, the Virginia Rush has two state cup championship teams, two finalist, and 10 teams advance to the final four. The benefits of the Rush Socccer are being realized by the players and the coaches. 2006 saw two Directors of Coaching from Virginia Rush transfer to Colorado Rush and Kansas Rush as full time staff members. The Virginia Rush Soccer Club has a full time staff of 6 Directors of Coaching holding USSF A Licenses. One Director of Coaching on US Soccer National Education staff and four are on the VA State Education Staff and Six are involved in Virginia ODP. The RUSH WAY equals SUCCESS!
