His son, Bob Clay joined him in the business in 1974 and together changed the name to Coastal Equipment Corp. in 1975. Both Herbert and Bob built a strong reputation in the Construction Equipment community by serving customers with integrity, quality and service. In the 1980's Bob's children, Julie and Jeff, joined their father in the business. Today, Julie serves as Office Manager and Jeff serves as President of the company and they continue to work with their father to grow the business while still following the same principles it was built on. As we have been serving Eastern Virginia for 66 years, we are proud that now the fourth generation has joined the business and we are excited about the future as we continue working hard to support and serve our customers.
