Le Moyne College EMS provides basic life support to the campus of Le Moyne. We are student run and have been operating as of January 22nd, 2019. Since then we have responded to over 50 calls.

ProLiteracy believes every adult has a right to literacy. We develop and promote adult literacy learning, content, programs and advocacy to help adult learners. ProLiteracy works with our members and partners, and the adult learners we serve, along with local, national, and international organizations. ProLiteracy helps build the capacity and quality of programs that are teaching adults by: • Advocating for public policies and legislation that benefit adult learners and the people and programs that serve them. • Providing professional development and training, technical assistance, publications, online resources, and credentialing services for program directors, instructors, trainers, and volunteer tutors working with adult learners in the U.S. • Working internationally with existing nongovernmental agencies to create programs that combine native language literacy lessons with community projects related to the environment, economic self-sufficiency, education, health, family literacy, and peace/conflict resolution. • Publishing educational materials that address the learning needs and difficulties of adult learners and of youths in grades 6-10. Located in Syracuse, NY, Jowonio began in 1969 as an alternative school for children whose families wanted a more open and individualized approach than they felt they could find in a public setting. The name Jowonio comes from the word in the Onondaga nation language which means “to set free.” The school’s founders chose this name because they believed that education should be freeing minds and emotions to learn and grow, freeing individuals from stereotypes and prejudices.From the beginning, Jowonio accepted a wide range of children. OnTECH Charter High School is a new community school in Syracuse, NY. OnTECH’s innovative curriculum joins project-based learning with career and technical education, focusing on the science of sustainability. The School aims to serve students who are over-aged and under-credited, drawing largely from the growing New American communities within the City of Syracuse. OnTECH’s educational program embeds English language remediation within authentic learning experiences. The School will open in September, 2018 with an inaugural class of 110 students, and grow to a capacity of approximately 400 over the next three years.
