EXPERIENCE:
· Administer bi-weekly payroll and perform payroll-related functions such as process new-hires, employment terminations, pay rate changes, update employee personal information, payroll deductions, tax or child support garnishments and PTO adjustments.
· Manage Employee Benefits such as company sponsored open enrollment for healthcare renewals, 401(k) contributions and annual matching, profit sharing calculations and vacation/PTO accruals.
· Provide direct support to the President with various general office duties and administrative tasks.
· Assist President with crew scheduling.
· Cover for President when he goes on vacation.
· Process/manage all Certified Payroll.
· Process/manage all Owner & University Controlled Insurance Programs (OCIP & UCIP) job files.
· Administer Workers’ Comp Incentive Program.
· Respond/process all Federal, State and Child Support correspondence, relating to employee wage garnishments.
· Respond/process all EDD correspondence.
· Manage Accounts payable and Accounts receivable utilizing QuickBooks.
· Manage online recruiting for laborers.
· Arrange hotel accommodations for out of town projects and President.
· Function as a liaison between the President and clients/colleagues to facilitate offsite construction projects and scheduling.
· Purchase materials, supplies and equipment/equipment rental arrangements as required for projects.
· Implemented organization of filing system for entire office.
· Order office supplies.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
• Saved the company thousands of dollars in material and supply orders by building strong relationships with various vendors
• Successfully assisted in closing various Workers’ Comp claims before becoming too costly for the company.
• Assisted Epic Contracting, Inc. and Iron Construction, Inc. joint ventures. Managed the hire process and online tracking system.
