CAMP-of-the-WOODS is owned and operated by Gospel Volunteers, Inc. CAMP-of-the-WOODS is a year-round Christian family resort and conference center located in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York, whose mission is to present the Biblical truths of Jesus Christ, develop Christian leaders, strengthen the faith of individuals and families, and promote global evangelism. Every decision made at Camp reflects one or more of these four principles. With a rich tradition of service and excellence, CAMP-of-the-WOODS strives to build up the body of Christ through its five ministry arms: Summer Season Nine weeks of vacation fun focused on serving families or individuals of all ages. Conference Season Year-round retreats and conference groups of 24 - 1300 people. Tapawingo A summer camp for girls located on an island in the middle of Lake Pleasant. LIFT A year-long discipleship program for those between the ages of 18 - 26. Missions The CAMP-of-the-WOODS missions program supports missionaries and missions projects all around the globe.
