The League for People with Disabilities offers individuals the opportunity to gain independence, increase self-sufficiency, and improve quality of life. The League provides custom solutions with innovative programs that meet the unique needs of those with disabilities through programs that support independence, job training, and socialization to meet people where they are and reach their personal goals.

HEALTHeLINK™ serves as a resource for broad health system transformation through secure data-informed decision making for individual patient care and to support community investments with a purpose of improving health, health care, and collaboration with local health care providers and those who are connected via the Statewide Health Information Network for New York (SHIN-NY) to improve health outcomes and health care delivery, control costs, increase access to care, and improve health equity in Western New York. HEALTHeLINK is also a founding member of Civitas Networks for Health, a national collaborative working to use health information exchange to improve health.

Community Action Organization of Western New York, (CAO) is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization based at 45 Jewett Avenue, Buffalo, NY. The CAO is a community-based, citizen-driven organization founded in 1965 as part of our nation’s “war on poverty” and provides essential health & human services, educational and training programs to the poor, low-income citizens of Erie County, NY. The CAO serves the community through their network of more than 50 locations throughout Erie County. Through this network, CAO runs more than 50 children and family, crisis and emergency, neighborhood, employment and training, housing and development, drug and community technology programs and services. Our mission is to promote opportunities for low-income families and individuals to achieve and sustain self-sufficiency through advocacy, partnerships and services. Each year we help more than 21,000 individuals and 9,000 families gain access to programs or services that might otherwise have not been available. The CAO also operates four resource centers in the city of Buffalo; the JFK Community Center, the Edward Saunders Community Center, the Pratt-Willert Community Center and the CAO Alphonso “Rafi” Greene Jr. Masten Resource Center. In addition, we operate a community resource center in Angola, NY. St. Martin Village, a 60 unit low-income housing complex at the site of what was once the German Roman Catholic Orphanage, is a recent addition to the CAO, and a community resource site which opened in 2012. We also initiated the Home Improvement Resource Program (HIRP) in 2012 and to date have provided millions of dollars in home improvement and weatherization resources to the community. In 2016, we also expanded our Head Start program to include three sites located within Niagara County.

Southern Tier Environments for Living (also known as STEL, Inc.) provides rehabilitative and support services to persons with mental illness and other disabilities in Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, and southern Erie counties. Our service spectrum includes residential treatment group homes & apartments, supported housing, single room occupancy housing, vocational rehabilitation, case management, social supports.

Mission Statement Journey's End Refugee Services, Inc. is a Christian community-based organization with the mission of welcoming refugees without regard to ethnic origin or creed and to assist them to become healthy, independent, contributing members of the community. Purpose Statement To provide refugees with the resources and support they need to become successful, active and contributing members of the Western New York Community.

Girl Scouts of Western New York, the preeminent girl leadership organization, currently serves 15,000 girls and 7,000 adult volunteers. Adult volunteers conduct a variety of age-appropriate programs and opportunities for girls at the troop and service unit level. Girls also participate in council-wide projects. Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
