Based in Hudson, New York, the company is also a producer of crushed stone, sand and gravel, and hot mixed asphalt.

Arold Paving was founded by Gary Arold in 1973. After incorporating in 1983, the business began venturing into other areas of site work and by 2007 it was time to change the name of the business to Arold Construction to better represent its variety of services. By this time, the second generation (Valerie, Ryan and Brandon) had also become heavily involved. His daughter Val who is a CPA currently oversees business operations as the President and Treasurer. His son Ryan who has a Civil Engineering Degree oversees the Trenchless Division along with his brother Brandon who has just come into the office after spending time in the field.
