Our primary mission is to identify and expand job opportunities through progressive and innovative labor management cooperative programs. The IMPACT Regional Advisory Boards extend this approach, creating a national labor-management network that promotes discussion of issues affecting the industry as a whole and enables the creation of effective strategies for resolving concerns to create opportunities for the union iron working industry. A board of trustees composed of an equal number of labor and management representatives oversee IMPACT. Gypsum Systems was incorporated in 1975 as a merit shop construction company with our primary focus on light commercial drywall. During the early 1980s, as merit shop construction gained traction in Western New York, we grew to a field workforce of 70 and an office staff of four, and moved to West Seneca, New York. In the early 1990s, responding to an influx of construction managers in the market, Gypsum Systems continued to focus on the commercial side of the business. Our most recent certification includes ABAA, air and vapor barrier systems. We focus on successful project completion by synergistically working as a team with all the trades.
