Adapt is a small business utilizing applied PEA and other qualitative research methods to offer actionable insights to its partners and clients that strengthen development effectiveness. Adapt seeks to challenge the dominant traditional paradigm valuing pre-designed, prescriptive, linear approaches to international development assistance. It works across geographies and sectors to help donors, governments, civil society organizations, private sector companies, and philanthropic organizations experiment with more entrepreneurial, flexible, and dynamic project designs, implementation processes, and measurement tools that help analyze risk and calculate returns on development investments.Working from the Open Gov Hub in Washington, D.C., I lead baseline political economy analyses, facilitate applied PEA trainings, and help development partners adapt to contextual factors using CLA and innovative grant making tools through a political economy lens. In collaboration with the President, I also lead Adapt’s operations and new business efforts. Please visit our website at https://adapt-consult.com.
