VT WIDE PLANK FLOORING LLC
VT WIDE PLANK FLOORING LLC
Brattleboro, Vermont
25-49 employees
Our small company has been crafting wide-plank flooring for over 30 years. We don't maintain an inventory of "standard" floor planks that are ready to ship; instead, every order is custom-milled to our client's exact project specifications. Flooring is shipped nationwide (we've even shipped to Iceland!) either unfinished or prefinished. In 2017 we built our engineered flooring facility, so we're now manufacturing all of our engineered flooring in-house as well. We use the same high-quality lumber for the wear layer that we use in our solid flooring, controlling the thickness of the wear layer (thick enough to allow for multiple refinishes) and using the highest-grade Baltic Birch for the backing. We're able to sell a superior product to our customers at mill-direct prices because we don't maintain showrooms or middlemen. We do, however, welcome visitors to our Brattleboro facility to observe our craftsmen in action and describe their ideal floor finish to our Custom Finish Sampling master.
