UNM Rainforest Innovations (UNMRI) mission is to foster a Rainforest in the Desert, UNMRI nurtures innovation and economic development for the UNM community. UNMRI achieves its mission by protecting technologies developed at UNM and transferring these technologies to the marketplace, via starting new companies and transferring technologies to established companies; connecting the business community to UNM for access to expertise, facilities, and research activities; and facilitating UNM's role as a contributor to New Mexico's economic development.

The New Mexico Primary Care Association (NMPCA) is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 corporation, representing 19 member organizations that operate over 160 primary care, dental, school-based and behavioral health clinics, throughout New Mexico. NMPCA has a full-time staff of 20 employees located in Albuquerque and 10 employees in Farmington, Gallup, Las Cruces, and Santa Fe. Founded in 1980, NMPCA serves as a liaison between its members and State and Federal agencies and works on behalf of the member health centers to develop and provide: Professional education and technical assistance for the development of staff, boards, and community members Clinical quality improvement support services to enable members to improve both the quality of their services and the health status of their patients Critical health information technology services, including network management, electronic health record hosting, and data analytics Outreach and Enrollment training and support to assist members and other community organizations to enroll consumers in Medicaid and Health Insurance Exchange coverage. Avenues for member organizations, clinics and staff to network and share best practices Assistance to communities to build infrastructure and secure resources for new primary care clinics Information and data to inform and educate policy makers and legislators

Managed operations and served as upper management for 3 offices throughout New Mexico. - Maintained office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement - Oversaw IT provider for the maintenance, repair, and replacement of computer and server equipment - Managed the donor information software (customer relationship management CSR) for the agency. Audited the database to ensure data accuracy and provide reports to Board of Directors and other agencies. - Managed office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees - Developed and managed local and national marketing campaigns for the preservation of public lands, including: NM Wild, NM Gila, Outdoor Economic Development, and other projects - Oversaw contracted web developers and photographers and directly wrote content for individual websites for each grassroots campaign - Identified future communication needs and priorities and provided input into the development and implementation of annual and long term communications plans - Created and organized special events for each campaign in various parts of New Mexico - Procured paid advertisements for all campaigns - Developed and managed budget and purchase orders - Managed and oversaw social media accounts across multiple platforms for each campaign - Worked with grassroots organizers to reach news media in rural New Mexico and general news content - Briefed executive director and board of directors on significant developments and issues. Provided media relations advice and provided talking points and facts sheets for news conferences and interviews - Managed joint collaboration with the Federal Department of Interior and contract compliance with federal standards - Served as a senior accountant and performed accounting functions and budget analysis

The Forest Stewards Guild's mission is to promote ecologically, economically, and socially responsible forestry as a means of sustaining the integrity of forest ecosystems and the human communities dependent upon them. We are a professional organization of forest stewards and affiliates who are passionate about sustaining and restoring the integrity of our forests while meeting the needs of the communities that rely on them. Our members’ work provides tangible examples of forestry that is ecologically, economically, and socially responsible. The common bond of Guild members is a passion for forests and land stewardship. The practice of excellent forestry, promotion of a stewardship ethic, and adherence to our membership principles are the heart and soul of the Guild. Our members practice imaginative silviculture that respects the complexity of natural forests. We value the importance of field observation, experience, science, and continuous learning. We seek opportunities to collaborate, share our knowledge, and learn from others.
