Sandia Peak Tramway Opened on May 7, 1966. Over the last 55 years the Sandia Peak Tramway has taken over 12 million guests up the Sandia Peak Mountain. A flight on the Sandia Peak Tram we will transport you above deep canyons and along the rock escarpment of the Sandia Mountains. You will see natures beauty unfold as you travel 2.7 miles to an elevation of 10,378 feet where our restaurant TEN 3 is perfectly located to catch the 10,000 mi.² view of Albuquerque and surrounding areas. It’s an elevation of the mind, body and soul in a mere 15 minutes.
