The Jewish Federation of Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties is the umbrella organization of the area's Jewish community, bringing together agencies, organizations and communities to support and fulfill the needs of the Jewish people. The six committees of the WDB make policy recommendations to the entire board.

Family Promise is the only organization in Bergen County dedicated to empowering working families who become homeless by providing temporary housing and personalized support, including job training, financial literacy, life skills, transportation, childcare and enrichment for children. Family Promise also addresses hunger through the nightly Walk-In Dinner, which since 1991 has served over 1.1 million meals to people in need.

Touch the World is a 501(c)(3) Christian ministry that creates opportunities for youth to encounter God and engage their faith through missions. Through strategic pre-trip training and intentional debriefing and discipleship, Touch the World helps churches and schools engage in short-term mission trips that make a long-term impact.

At Girls on the Run NYC, we inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. Girls on the Run is a transformational physical activity based positive youth development program for girls in 3rd-8th grade. We teach life skills through dynamic, interactive lessons and running games. The program culminates with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5k running event. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness.
