The mission of the Princeton National Rowing Association (PNRA) is to create a world class venue where rowers of all ages and talent levels can benefit from the sport of rowing. Through PNRA’s facilities and Mercer Lake, we will offer the best to our nation's elite and Olympic athletes, provide opportunities for area youth to excel in the sport of rowing and expand rowing in Mercer County through Community based programs. The Caspersen Rowing Center operated by the Princeton National Rowing Association is a licensed United States Olympic Training Site and home to the USRowing National and Olympic Team. Through PNRA's Mercer Rowing Program, Junior athletes are able to participate in a nationally competitive rowing team. The program draws athletes from 30 different area schools which do not have rowing teams. The Juniors row out of the same boathouse as the National Team and in many cases are actually coached by the nation's top atheltes. The Mercer Masters includes rowers of all ages and skill levels, from learn to row to competitive rowers. PNRA's Outreach program strives to provide rowing opportunites to youth who are not part of the traditional rowing demographic. Through our innovative partnership with Trenton's Joyce Kilmer School and the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mercer County, Mercer Juniors Rowers mentor Kilmer 5th - 7th graders and 8th graders are given the opportuntiy to participate in the Mercer Junior Rowing Program.
