Specialty Granules LLC has been a leader and innovator in aggregates and mining for close to 100 years, manufacturing specialized products for the roofing, construction, and agricultural industries. SGI is headquartered in Hagerstown, MD, and has five plants strategically located across the U.S. Plants in Blue Ridge Summit, PA; Annapolis, MO; Pembine, WI; and Ione, CA, are open-pit quarries, mining rock that is crushed and screened to produce granules and aggregates.
