Our Mission: Coos County Family Health Services is a community-based organization providing innovative, personalized, comprehensive health care and social services of the highest quality to everyone, regardless of economic status. Our Services: We provide comprehensive primary care services on a sliding fee scale in our offices, visits to those needing services in their homes, some school services, and care in the hospital and nursing home when necessary. Our Organization: CCFHS had its start in 1974 as a Title X Family Planning agency. In 1980, it merged with Family Health Programs, an organization which provided pre-natal and infant care. In the ensuing years additional services were added, and in 1993 CCFHS was Federally-funded and recognized as a full-service Community Health Center. In 2004, CCFHS merged with Mountain Health Services, thus expanding to 2 additional sites with 21 providers. Our Board: CCFHS is a non-profit corporation operated by a Community Board of Directors, a majority of whom are clients of the agency. Our Staff: Currently, CCFHS is staffed by Family Practice Physicians, Internists, OB-GYNs, Pediatricians, Podiatrist, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants. Approximately 30% of our staff are bi-lingual (French). Lakes Region Mental Health Center is a private, non-profit organization designated by the State of New Hampshire as the community mental health center serving Belknap and southern Grafton Counties. Founded in 1966, LRMHC provides comprehensive, integrated mental health treatment for people living with - and recovering from - mental illness and/or emotional distress. LRMHC provides 24/7 Emergency Services; individual, group and family therapy; mobile crisis teams in the event a tragic event occurs that impacts a community at large, psychiatry; nursing; community support programs for people with severe and persistent mental illness; care management; community-based supports; wellness programs, housing; supported employment; substance use disorder treatment; and specialty services and for children and their families, including trauma-focused therapy, and art therapy. Child Impact seminars are offered at both campuses in Laconia and Plymouth for divorcing families.

Boothby Therapy Services is a clinician owned company. Maren Boothby, MS, CCC-SLP received her Master's Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of New Hampshire in 1997. After working in skilled nursing, acute rehabilitation and outpatient rehabilitation settings, Maren found her passion working with children in schools. Maren began collaborating with like-minded colleagues in 2002. Our philosophy of providing custom made work schedules designed to fit each individual therapist's life combined with outstanding compensation for each hour worked has allowed us to recruit and retain the highest caliber of therapists. Our understanding of the needs of special education professionals continues to foster an increasing number of partnerships with schools across New England. We partner with teachers and parents to integrate therapy goals into daily routines at school and at home.
