 Responsible for directing and managing the analytic healthcare claims and pharmacy data for 24 separate healthcare funds. Data includes approximately $925 million in paid claims annually. Develop and present data findings and recommendations for healthcare cost improvements for each fund on a quarterly and/or as needed basis. Oversee performance of data warehouse contract - approximately $650k per year. Develop and prepare reports on hospital cost and utilization. Provide analytic support and documentation for the development of quality programs for each of the 24 groups and for the HSC as a whole. Lead healthcare data management team which includes representation from two large gaming institutions and consultants for many of the Taft-Hartley union funds. Responsible for design of data collection tool on an on-going basis to ensure complete and accurate data for each of the healthcare funds.
