In 1948 our Founder, Floyd Gillam started a small truck and farm machinery repair shop in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He saw the importance of establishing a reputation for timely, quality work, at a fair price. IN the early days Floyd’s original equipment included White and Freightliner trucks. Now in now the 4th generation of family leadership, that fine standard of excellence in service and equipment as a Daimler Trucks North America dealer enables company growth with training and equipment produced by the largest automotive manufacturer in the world. In January of 2013, Floyd’s expanded operations from 3 to 5 locations with the purchase of Freightliner dealerships in Rapid City and Ft Pierre, SD. In December of 2016 the company added more locations in Gillette, WY, Casper, WY, and Rock Springs, WY. followed by our 2018 acquisition of Rocky Mountain Truck Center and Elite Kubota in Belgrade, MT. The Floyds truck group rebranded the 9 locations as Floyd's Truck Center, unveiling a new logo along with continuing to employ top talent and maintain the best sales and service network in the region. The Floyds Parts Departments are also fully stocked and staffed with helpful, knowledgeable staff to take care of every need and get drivers and their equipment back on the road. The company features two full-service, nationally recognized heavy truck body shops located in Scottsbluff, NE and Rapid City, SD. All locations staff Elite level service departments with Daimler Certified, factory trained technicians on the latest diagnostic technology in the repair of today’s heavy truck equipment. The Riverstone Bank brand was introduced in early 2021, when we brought together two long-standing community banks, Tri Valley Bank of Talmage, NE, and Eagle State Bank of Eagle, NE. We offer a free collection and delivery service for the Exmouth and East Devon. We are also the first laundry in the area to have a fully qualified NVQ Level 2 Laundry Operations work force.
