Senior Advisor, Buffett Early Childhood Fund (2015-2022)After years of partnering with philanthropies to build and launch innovative early childhood programs, I was recruited in 2015 to serve as a Senior Advisor to Buffett's 75 M Early Childhood Fund portfolio. I lead efforts to develop family engagement program models that empower parents as a force for change in their families, schools, and communities.Established in 2005, the Buffett Early Childhood Fund mission is to prevent the opportunity gap for the 6 million children birth to age 5 living in poverty, by investing in practice, policy and science to maximize the potential of the youngest and most vulnerable children and families in Nebraska and across America.
