RMEF is a wildlife conservation organization with a mission of ensuring the future of elk, other wildlife, their habitat and our hunting heritage. Founded in 1984 with an international headquarters in Montana, it advances its mission with a programmatic focus on land conservation and access, habitat stewardship, wildlife management and advocacy on behalf of elk, conservation and hunting.

The NFF works with communities and organizations to conserve and enhance the watersheds, wildlife habitat and wild places across our 193-million-acre National Forest System. Mission The National Forest Foundation (NFF), chartered by Congress, engages Americans in community-based and national programs that promote the health and public enjoyment of the 193-million-acre National Forest System, and administers private gifts of funds and land for the benefit of the National Forests.
